Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and SaveMyComfort, a trading name of Renaissance Enterprise Ltd (Companies House No. 15196090), 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX (“SaveMyComfort”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of savemycomfort.com and our request service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

SaveMyComfort is a matching and referral service. We connect homeowners who need home-service work with independent, third-party contractors who operate their own businesses.

We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, manage, or inspect any heating, cooling, installation, repair, or other home-services work. Any work you arrange is provided by the independent contractor you choose, under a separate agreement directly between you and them. SaveMyComfort is not a party to that agreement.

Using SaveMyComfort to request a quote and get matched is free for homeowners. The price of any work is agreed directly between you and the contractor you choose to hire.

When you submit a request, you understand and agree that:

• We may share your request and contact details with one matched local contractor so they can contact you.
• A match is not a recommendation that you hire that contractor, and it does not create any obligation for you to do so.
• You are free to compare, ask questions, and decline — or to hire no one.
• We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available in your area, that they will contact you, or that they will agree to perform any particular work.

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information in your request.
• Confirm a contractor’s licensing, insurance, pricing, and suitability yourself before hiring, and read any agreement they ask you to sign.
• Use the website lawfully and not interfere with or misuse it.
• You must be at least 18 years old and the homeowner, or authorised to arrange services for the property.

While we apply reasonable checks to contractors in our network, we do not endorse, guarantee, or warrant any contractor, their licensing or insurance status, the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of their work, or the prices they charge. Your dealings with any contractor are solely between you and them.

The website and service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any match will meet your requirements. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaveMyComfort will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the work performed (or not performed) by any contractor, any agreement between you and a contractor, or your use of (or inability to use) the website and service. This includes any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Because we provide a free matching service and are not a party to your agreement with a contractor, any disputes about the work should be raised with that contractor.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SaveMyComfort and Renaissance Enterprise Ltd from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with a contractor.

The SaveMyComfort name, logo, website, and content are owned by Renaissance Enterprise Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our permission.

By submitting a request, you consent to be contacted by SaveMyComfort and the matched contractor about your request. Details of that consent — including calls, text messages, and email, and how to opt out — are set out in our Communications consent (TCPA) notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence provide otherwise.
