SaveMyComfort is a trading name of Renaissance Enterprise Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House No. 15196090), registered address: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

We operate a free service that connects homeowners with independent, local heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) and home-service professionals. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through savemycomfort.com and our request forms.

When you request a quote or ask to be matched with a pro, we collect:

  • Your name and contact details (phone number and email address)
  • Your home or service address, or your ZIP code
  • Details of the service you need (for example, the type of system and the problem)
  • Any notes or preferences you choose to share with us

Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information, and your IP address
  • Pages you view and how you arrived at our site (including from an advertisement)
  • Cookies and similar tracking identifiers (see Section 5)

3.How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Match you with a suitable local contractor for the service you requested
  • Share your request with that contractor so they can contact you (see Section 4)
  • Contact you about your request and confirm the details
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and service
  • Measure and improve the performance of our advertising
  • Detect and prevent fraud and misuse
  • Comply with our legal obligations

4.How we share your information

With the contractor we match you with. The core of our service is connecting you with a local pro. When you submit a request, we share your contact details and the details of your request with one matched, independent contractor so that they can reach out to you. That contractor is a separate business and uses your information under their own privacy practices.

We also share limited information with service providers who help us operate, including:

  • Website hosting and secure database infrastructure
  • Email and messaging delivery
  • Analytics and advertising measurement partners (see Section 5)

These providers may use your information only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5.Cookies & tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to run the site, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising. This includes advertising and analytics tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google services, which may set identifiers that help us understand which ads lead to requests and show relevant ads.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the match and follow-up, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and we review these measures regularly. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.International transfers

We operate from the United Kingdom and work with service providers in the United States and elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.

11.Children’s privacy

Our service is intended for adults arranging services for their home. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date below and post the revised Policy on this page.
